Reno’s are almost complete
Our renovations are almost complete, and we’re truly thrilled to be opening soon — every paint touch, floorboard carefully laid, and thoughtful display arranged has brought us steadily closer to the warm, welcoming space we’ve long envisioned. Renovation tests patience with unexpected delays, persistent dust, difficult choices, and even letting your contractors change your mind on lighting choices — shocking, if you know me :) — but each decision has helped shape the final result. I’m genuinely grateful for everyone’s help and contributions, from the bin delivery being right on time, to my team traveling to lend hands with the project, to the electrician spending an entire day wrangling wires in the crawl space. The careful craftsmanship and attention to detail make the wait feel worthwhile; when the doors finally open, the warmth, intention, and renewed energy we’ve poured into every corner will be obvious and welcoming. We were fortunate to find a space that has stood for over 100 years, and even more fortunate to meet the man who last renovated it in 1981 — his stories and memories added depth to our work. During our face lift, we preserved meaningful elements of the building’s history so its story is recognized and honoured alongside the new. We are truly excited to welcome the community — SOON! It’s almost time. As we put the final finishing touches in place, the vision of intentional design is beginning to look and feel like a perfect spot for calm reflection, meaningful connection, and gentle, grounded guidance.
